In a world with ever-changing legal and compliance measures, having the ability to better understand how these laws impact a given industry can be a powerful asset. Seton Hall’s Master of Legal Studies aims to arm students with such knowledge.

Students develop critical thinking while building a strong foundation in core legal areas. The first 13 credits cover:

  • Legal Writing
  • the American Legal System
  • Contracts
  • Constitutional Law
  • Business Associations

GRADUATE SCHOOL SHOULD MAKE LIFE BETTER, NOT HARDER

Seton Hall Law carefully structured the MLS to provide maximum flexibility and customization, allowing you to align your learning experience with your career goals and interests. Students may complete the 31-credits completely online, or partially online and in-person at our campus in Newark, New Jersey. The Master of Legal Studies can be completed in just two years on a part-time schedule and does not have a residency requirement. Applicants do not have to take the GRE or LSAT.
